An Ideology of Peace

What a misfortune when a small number is able to damage global peace, security, and stability.
There are nearly 7 billion people in the world coming from 195 different countries. A vast majority of these millions and billions of people are peace loving and want to live their lives in peace. With such large numbers, we are certainly not outnumbered. Then why do we let a very small minority destroy the peace?
It is vital to understand what really is going on.
How do you learn though? Most of our information depends on the media. Unfortunately most of the media all over the world likes to sensationalize everything and capitalize on stories for their own reasons. Some causes are way too important and the media needs to realize their responsibility for the peace and stability of the only world we have and the one they share too.
There really are only two kinds of people in the world: good and bad. The vast majority of the people in the world are good people. And it has nothing to do with religion, race, or nationality.
Don’t expect or wait for the extremists to learn tolerance. Greater understanding and tolerance for different cultures, religions, and people is actually needed more amongst the peace loving majority. If we understand we will be united and we will stand as one and become a wall against all evil minded people.
For our own sake and for the sake of the peace of our world it will be wise to stop associating any misguided people with any race, religion or nationality. Because when we do so we cut away from our very own ranks the millions and sometimes billions who actually are on our side——-Exactly what our enemies want us to do.
This job is not just for the governments. We all have to smarten up and help. Now is the hour for us to support our world. Let us not just sit aside. Let us all do our part.
E PLURIBUS UNUM;
Latin for ”Out of many, one “. These beautiful words placed on the Seal of the United States of America in 1776 the secret of our strength and stability. The idea that 13 separate and divided colonies could become one nation based on respect, peace , tolerance, justice, and freedom among other things is incredibly powerful. These symbols are what I admire most about America. May these wise words inspire all the peace loving people of the world!
The world is calling us for help. Will we, will you support your world or give up on it? With better understanding and tolerance we can strengthen our ranks.
Let us not be silent, let us all work together to make the world a better place! Let there be peace, respect, tolerance and understanding.

Dear Myra!
You are perfectly right. If you sow hatred you will get thorns. God created every person diffrent from other; everyone has good qualities as well as draw backs, so unless we accept this fact that no one is perfect on this earth & unless we focuss on others` good qualities, we cant bring peace in our communities.
If we love our selves, our aproach to every thing should be positive, this approach shall give us piece of mind & allow us to fight against terrrorism in a much better manner. There is a saying that if you want to travel far & fast travel light, take off all your envies, jelousies, unforgiveness, selfishness & fears; we have to make this world a fort of love & understanding for others. In your own words “If we focuss on similiarities the differences will fade away”, so if we all follow this principal, we can achieve our goal of vanquishing the bad stuff from our commnities,
Now every peace loving person has understood this fact. Recently we had a Rotary Convention In Montreal & all Keynote speakers like Greg Mortenson & Queen Noor of Jordan & all others stressed on this positive behavior of all the nations of the world. Lets hope for the best.

It is a beautiful message Myra showing a noble spirit. This is the message that prophets and sages have been trying to spread since ages. But human beings tend to loose this knowledge every now and then.
The challenge is how to make this consciousness permanent that humanity may not forget this lesson. Then my dear actions speak louder than words and we need to develop an action logic that would justify importance of peace and mutual survival of all races and people in the world.
It may need more money than is needed to develop rocket science and/or nuclear energy or bio-tech experiments. Unfortunately good people have just ideas, no money to invest in noble tasks. Our wishes and prayers cannot make media more honest and transparent or governments more responsible.
What we can do only is do not leave hope and be steadfast on our own way to “peace”. May Allah help and guide us all on this path towards righteousness. Amen!

Dear Myra,
As always you are right on about your world view for peace and understanding. I just arrived home after two weeks of travel in five countries. What I always bring home with me after I travel is the knowledge that we are all so connected in this world. Pople are people and our needs are the same. We need to be understood and loved. We need nourishment and shelter. We need to have the chance to thrive and work toward our potential. We need to understand what it means “Out of many, one.” I love hearing from you and will continue to look forward to your wise words,
